Abstract

Throughout our study ,we conclude that books of biographies and translations have a Great importance ,as They include and gather the biggest amount of information about a certain Character and to monitor the role and influence of that character in society We took a mode l : the book « Al- A 'lam‘ a biographical Dictionary for the Most Arabic men and women as well as the Arabic’s and orientalises because it is considered as one of the most impotent books of general biographies ,which « El Zerakali » gathered thousands of people , men and women from the pre-era to the modern era. We also Dedicated in our « Al- a ‘lam al zerekly» thought el Aalam encyclopaedia « kheir eddine al-zerekly » from symbols of literary knowledge ,of leadership and politics , in addition to Arabic expatriates and orientalises . in this notebook ,se have listed over 100 algerian personalities from the book « Al- a ‘lam al zerekly», who are considered famous figuers in algeria including men , women, scholars, rulers, politicians, writers, and intellectuals .we attempted to classify them as mentioned in the book« Al- a ‘lam »,from the pre-islamic era to the year 1976.
