Abstract

The current study aimed to reveal the relationship of marital distress to aggressive behavior among primary school children in the state of Ain Temouchent. The descriptive statistical method was adopted, which is consistent with our study. In order to achieve this goal, a sample was chosen in a deliberate manner and was estimated at (30 families) represented by 60 husbands and wives and (30 children) ranging in age from (7 to 12 years). To collect the necessary data for the study, a marital distress scale was designed by the student and was used. The aggressive behavior scale was prepared by Hamma Fatima Al-Zahra (2019). The study concluded the following results: The level of marital distress among the study sample is low. The level of aggressive behavior among primary school children is low There is a statistically significant inverse correlation between marital distress and aggressive behavior among the children of the study sample.
