Abstract

Given the importance of investment in this era, the Algerian legislator has established key investment principles in law 22-18 concerning new investment. The first priciple is the freedom of ininvestment , enshrined both constitutionally and legally. The second priciple is equality in the treatment of investments, which provides special legal protection for foreign investors. FOR the first time in investment law, the principle of transparency was introduced to combat corruption and simplify procedures. Additionally, discussions around the institution promoting investment have resulted in the creation of the Algerian investment promotion Agency and the National Investment co
