Résumé
The aim of this study is to determine the impact of environmental management practices in
family-owned businesses on achieving dimensions of sustainable development, through a case
study of the family-owned business ‘LLC Sofcontra’, where the theoretical aspect of the study
relied on a descriptive approach, while in the practical side, a questionnaire survey was designed
and distributed to a randomly selected sample of employees (34 employees) from the ‘LLC
Sofcontra’.
The study concluded that ‘LLC Sofcontra’ adopts environmental management practices
and strives to achieve dimensions of sustainable development at a level of (α ≤ 0.05) .The study
results also indicated a statistically significant positive impact of environmental management
practices on dimensions of sustainable development at a level of (α ≤ 0.05)
