Abstract
This study aimed at showing the role that the internal control system plays in improving the quality of
service in health institutions
Recently, the health sector has witnessed great interest at all levels, as the issue of health service quality
has become a growing global concern, in an effort by hospital institutions to provide their health services
with high quality to achieve maximum patient satisfaction. For the state of Ain Temouchent, through a
questionnaire distributed to the study samples in the institution, the first sample is 30 part of the
institution’s employees in order to know the effectiveness of the components of the internal control
system, and the second sample is 30 part of the patients in order to know the degree of quality of public
service provided by the institution
The study reached several results, the most important of which is that the internal control system has a
positive impact on the quality of public service in the aforementioned institution, and therefore the
internal control system contributes significantly to improving the quality of public service
