Abstract

Through our review of this topic the importance of financing green investment in Algeria is shown as an essential and effective element. This is an important element in the creation of green investments that take into consideration. The environmental dimension as a key element for sustainable development which makes this type offunding very important at the international and local levels. But we see a significant lack of contribution to the national financial institutions in the financing of environmental investment projects in our country. Where the biggest part remains to the international financial institutions the role development bank is and reflected in the financing of Green investment but the latter is still in institutions we can say that environmental finance in Algeria is still in the initial stages of training it has not reached the level of developed countries by establishing banks specialized in the financing of environmental projects which is known with Green Banks. However the existence of environmental funds in our country shows the interest of the national authorities in environmental issues and the growth of their environmental sense.
