Abstract

Algeria, like other energy countries, has paid great attention to renewable energies, due to its possession of important areas and energy resources in order to develop its economies now and in the future, through the development of effective energy strategic programs represented in the issuance of a set of laws and investment and technological incentive measures to achieve the desired economic diversification. This study also aimed to highlight the importance of moving towards renewable energies to facilitate the lives of citizens and provide new financial and energy resources, as well as jobs in Algeria, using the descriptive and analytical approach to reveal the investment situation in renewable energies at the local level. Renewable energies represent small percentages compared to traditional energies due to the financial and technological difficulties that exist in the renewable energies sector
