Résumé
In recent years, Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (RCSF-SM) have become an active field for
researchers due to their wide and growing application. However, routing is a critical issue that must
be taken into account as it has a direct impact on the performance of RCSF-SM. Several protocols
have been proposed to solve this problem as well as to reduce power consumption and extend the life
of sensor nodes in RCSF-SM. Chain-based routing is an approach to routing protocols that reduces
power consumption in RCSF-SM.Our proposed algorithm is formed of several chains positioned in
different layers, The chains are formed by the ACO ant colony algorithm, a main chain is formed
which allows to transmit the data to the SB, then an evaluation in terms of energy consumption and
life of nodes was presented and discussed.
