Abstract
Natural mineral water is characterized by its richness in mineral salts and trace elements and
especially by its microbiological quality which is free from pollution or contamination by pathogenic
germs.
The search for pathogenic germs in natural mineral water makes it possible to assess its
microbiological state, it is for this purpose that our study was carried out on natural bottled mineral
waters marketed and intended for human consumption in the city of Ain temouchent. We searched in
the hygiene laboratory of the wilaya of AinTemouchent the presence of microbiological contamination
in the waters included in our study based on parameters and indicator values of the good
microbiological quality of drinking water human quoted in the official Algerian newspaper.
Results obtained after analysis of coliforms, total germs, fecal streptococcus, Clostridium Sulfitoreducteurs
and Pseudomonas show a total absence of contamination this allowed us to observe that the
bacteriological quality of the natural bottled mineral waters included in our study is of good
bacteriological quality
