Abstract

Our study is theoretical but based on real data, which allowed us to understand the importance and the need to take into account all the elements involved in the study and sizing of a cold room, from its location up to the choice of suitable equipment for a particular refrigeration installation. The purpose of this study is also to choose the best refrigerant and its impact on the environment. Particular and precise calculations of the heat balance have been carried out which are essential for the correct choice and sizing of the refrigeration equipment; because errors made at this level risk being irreparable, if they appear after the completion of the project.
