Étude d’un mortier à base de la pouzzolane et de la chaux

Abstract

The use of mixtures of pouzzolans and lime is an unknown practice in our country that is why we became important to make a study on this subject. The objective of this work is to contribute to a better knowledge of this mixture to determine its physical and mechanical characteristics in the short and medium term, and possibly use in the manufacture of various mortars as well as the filling elements. The study found that it was possible to have strengths that justify the use of binder (pouzzolans - lime) in the various mortars. We also determined a binder formulation (pouzzolans -lime- water) giving acceptable resistances for the manufacture of the filling elements.
