Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of exchange rate fluctuations on the Algerian trade balance during the period 1926-2021. This by including the exchange rate in the determinants of the trade balance using the oriented line correction growth. The results show that exchange rate fluctuations have a negative impact on the country's economic performance. This is a decline in economic growth and higher relative import prices
