Organizational structures are of paramount importance as a fundamental tool that contributes to defining the boundaries of authority and responsibilities, and directing the flow of data and information. From this perspective, this study aims to highlight the role of organizational structure as an independent variable in enhancing internal communication and improving the work environment as dependent variables. The study aimed to demonstrate the role of the dimensions of organizational structure (centralization, formality, and complexity) in enhancing internal communication and improving the work environment. To achieve the study's objectives and test its hypotheses, the descriptive-analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was distributed Based on a sample of (50) employees at the Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate (Sonelgaz) in the Wilaya of Ain Temouchent, analyzed using SPSS software, we obtained the following results: Increased centralization and formality lead to slower communication processes, while horizontal complexity related to job specialization contributes to improving communication quality. The organizational structure also contributes to improving the quality of the work environment and reducing ambiguity.
