We discussed both its place in the classroom of the FFL, its evolution through the different teaching/learning methodologies as well as the difficulties that can meet any teacher and any learner in the classroom. After our survey (classroom observations and questionnaire), we found that the teaching/learning of the oral in-class FFL is not an easy task to achieve and therefore to succeed, despite its importance in the training of learners. For all these reasons, we suggest that FFL teachers try to adapt their oral teaching to the needs of their learners by choosing attractive materials and fun activities, in order to motivate them and create a favourable climate to this learning.
