I attempted to trace these representations through his novels The Book of the Prince, The Guardian of Shadows, The Kingdom of the Butterfly, and The Lady of the Shrine. These novels present a comprehensive conception of death as a central structure governing the fictional world, not merely a fleeting event ending with the end of life. Art, too, appears in these novels as an act of resistance against death. Every work becomes an attempt to postpone annihilation or transform it into a comprehensible experience, rather than a silent endotherDeathArtThe Book of the PrinceThe Guardian of ShadowsThe Kingdom of the ButterflyThe Lady of the Shrineثنائية الموت والفن في روايات واسيني الأعرج :دراسة في تمثلات البطل الفنان و معاناته الوجوديةThesis
