In Algeria, the enforcement of such judgments is governed by the provisions of the Code of Civil and Administrative Procedure and ratified international conventions. The Algerian legislature has adopted a system of supervision, whereby the judge verifies that certain conditions are met, such as non-violation of public order and the jurisdiction of the foreign court. Foreign judgments only become enforceable after they have been certified as enforceable.
