The study compares three main configurations: plain sheet metal, U-bent sheet metal, and V-bent sheet metal. Through numerical simulations performed using Abaqus and by imposing realistic boundary conditions, the results show that bent shapes significantly improve stiffness and reduce deformation compared to flat sheets. This study highlights that optimizing the bend shape is an effective solution for strengthening sheet metal, improving its stability, and meeting the industry's increasing demands for reliability and performance.frGeneral-purpose finite element analysis software.Influence de la forme du pliage sur la résistance des tôlesThesis
