Through our study, we were exposed to the concept of center and margin from its various literary, social, economic and political aspects, through revealing the relationship that lies between these two terms, from a relationship of competition and a relationship of integration, and this is due to the center's need for margin. The study also attempted to present the manifestations of the center and the margin in the novel by studying the central and marginalized characters in society and the struggle for survival, in addition to the chronological study related to the techniques employed by the novelist and the linguistic diversity that dominated the narrative text from classical, colloquial and French.
