Without a brake system in the vehicle will put a passenger in a dangerous position. Brakes convert friction into heat, but if the brakes get too hot, they will stop working because they cannot dissipate enough heat. The objective of our thesis is to study and analyze the temperature distribution of the brake disc using a multi-physics COMSOL 5.6 software, and to propose a modeling of the thermomechanical behavior of automotive brake discs for predicting its lifespan. An analysis of the physical phenomena operating in a brake disc in service is presented (high thermal gradients, disc/pad friction, etc.).COMSOL 5.6 multi-physics break disc modeling, heat transfer, braking system, simulationModélisation de la génération de chaleur Dans un frein à disque
