To evaluate the effectiveness of this pedagogical tool, a comparison was established between two approaches: lexical exercises developed after the use of a film excerpt (in the second session) and exercises designed using a traditional method, devoid of filmic support. The analysis of the collected data reveals that cinema exerts a positive, albeit partial, influence on lexical retention in FFL. The obtained results tend to confirm that the integration of cinematic material in the classroom promotes lexical enrichment among undergraduate-level learners.frLexicon, Lexical retention, Cinema, Lexical exercises, FFL didactics, Higher education, Second-year undergraduateexique - Rétention lexicale - Cinéma - Exercices lexicaux - Didactique du FLE - Enseignement supérieur - Deuxième année de licenceLe cinéma comme médiateur linguistique dans le développement des compétences lexicales.
