Through the analysis of texts written without a dictionary, with a bilingual dictionary, and with a monolingual dictionary, this study highlights the effects of these tools on lexical richness, diversity, and appropriateness. The findings show that the monolingual dictionary contributes more effectively to vocabulary enrichment and the improvement of written expression. This research therefore emphasizes the importance of dictionaries as pedagogical tools in learning French as a foreign language.otherFFL didacticswritten productionlexical richnessbilingual dictionarymonolingual dictionarylexical competenceAnalyse comparative de l’impact du recours aux dictionnaires monolingues et bilingues sur le développement lexical en production écrite cas des élèves de 2e AS filières langues étrangères du lycée Maghni Sandid de la wilaya d’Ain TemouchentThesis
