Indeed, the historical novel as a literary genre has always drawn from the history of his stories, which nourish and thus give them an air of truth. But in whose interest? Is history a romantic novelist material that helps to weave the plot of his novel? We tried to analyze the historical novel and its characteristics in order to answer this question.
