This thesis, entitled “Modeling and Simulation of an FTTH Network for High-Speed Connectivity in Urban Areas”, presents a comparative study of two WDM-PON architectures (star and tree topologies). Simulations were carried out using OptiSystem, focusing on three critical parameters : launch power, transmission distance, and bit rate. Performance metrics, including Q-factor, BER, and eye diagram analysis, highlight the superior performance of the star topology, making it more suitable for dense urban environments. This work contributes technical guidelines to optimize the deployment of high-,performance FTTH access networks.frFTTH, WDM-PON, fibre optique, topologie en étoile, topologie en arbre, OptiSystem, Q- factor, BER, réseaux d’accès, connectivité urbaine.FTTH, WDM-PON, optical fiber, star topology, tree topology, OptiSystem, Q-factor, BER, optical access networks, urban connectivity.Modélisation et Simulation d’un Réseau FTTH Pour une Connectivité Haut Débit en Milieu UrbainThesis
