We specifically examined the discourse of pleadings and judicial opinions, delving into the theoretical aspects and key milestones leading to the emergence of this specialized language. Additionally, we explored the cultural and social influences on the structure of legal discourse, aiming to identify significant milestones that distinguish Algerian legal language, including linguistic and semantic strategies used by lawyers and legal scholars to achieve legal and just objectives. Our analysis aimed to understand the interaction between textual linguistics, applied linguistics, and the legal context in Algeria, examining how language and discourse impact the formulation of judgments and legal decisions in the Algerian judicial context. We provided a comprehensive analysis of language use and discourse formation in the local legal environment, evaluating the mechanisms and strategies employed in presenting arguments and reasoning in legal discourse.
