It aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed content and its impact on students’ comprehension. Through the analysis of activities, texts, and pedagogical materials, this research highlights the importance of lexical adaptation and the teaching methods used in the text book. The obtained results show that the use of adapted vocabulary, supported by explanations and reformulations, promotes reading comprehension and improves learners performance.
