The researchfocused on highlighting the major criticalapproachesadopted by contemporarycritics in reading and analyzingheritage, whilededicating an applied model to the project of Mohammed Abed Al-Jabri. The studyemployed the analyticalmethod, supported by both the historical and criticalapproaches, to examine and analyzetexts and uncovertheir cognitive dimensions. The findingsindicatethatcontemporarycriticalthought has contributed to re-readingancientArabheritagefrom a rational and critical perspective based on understanding and analysisratherthan sanctification or absolute rejection.
