Despite these constraints, they harbor a microbial diversity capable of adapting to osmotic stress. The present study aimed to investigate the fungal diversity of saline soils and to evaluate the growth capacity of fungal isolates under different temperature conditions and NaCl concentrations. Molds were isolated on PDA and Czapek Dox Agar media supplemented with 10% and 15% NaCl and incubated at 25°C through direct cultivation of soil fragments from four soil samples. The fungal isolates were identified based on microscopic observations. The identification results revealed the presence of three fungal genera: Penicillium spp, Fusarium spp, and Aspergillus spp. The growth study of these isolates at different temperatures and NaCl concentrations showed that growth depended on the fungal isolate. However, regardless of the NaCl concentration, 25°C was identified as the optimal temperature for growth. In conclusion, this study highlights the fungal diversity present in the saline soils of the Oran Sebkha and contributes to a better understanding of fungal biodiversity in Algerian hypersaline environments.frOran Sebkhasaline soilmoldsfungal growthsalinitytemperaturehalotolerance.Etude de la croissance des moisissures isolées à partir du sol salin de Sebkha d’Oran : Region de MisserghinThesis
