It primarily examines three cryptographic algorithms: DES, AES, and RC4. The study evaluates their performance and efficiency in encrypting digital images. The results show that the AES algorithm significantly outperforms DES in terms of security and efficiency, even with fewer rounds. RC4, while efficient in execution time, shows slightly better entropy and NPCR and UACI values compared to AES.
