ناجي, حياةبوسغادي, حبيب2025-07-012025-07-012025-06-24http://dspace.univ-temouchent.edu.dz/handle/123456789/6306This study aims to explore the rhetorical foundations in the Arabic rhetorical heritage through an analysis of Dalā’il al-Iʿjāz by ʿAbd al-Qāhir al-Jurjānī. The focus was placed on the relationship between classical Arabic rhetoric and modern linguistic sciences, by examining aspects of cohesion and mechanisms of coherence in discourse. The results revealed that al-Jurjānī presented an advanced vision of meaning and context, in line with what is proposed in pragmatic linguistics. The study also confirmed al-Jurjānī’s ability to connect linguistic structure with rhetorical intent.
