dc.description.abstract | In the field of medicine and the development of new therapeutic techniques, the demand for medicinal plants is very high. This thesis presents the results of a comparison between some biological activities of aqueous extract and nanoparticles based on the extract. aqueous of the medicinal plant Pistacia lentiscus (Anacardiaceae) identified in the wilaya of Ain move you, The phytochemical screening brought out the presence of secondary metabolites such as: tannins, saponosides, flavonoids, alkaloids, free quinones, sterols, terpenoids. This plant is recognized as a source of a traditional medicinal agent. Two aqueous extracts are prepared from Pistacia lentiscus were obtained from the extraction by maceration (leaf and fruit). The estimation of the reducing power of its residues of Pistacia lentiscus and nanoparticles based on aqueous extract, by the method of trapping the free radical DPPH (2-2. Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl), allows us to note that this plant possesses good antioxidant activity, the results show that the aqueous extract of fruits and leaves shows better activity with an IC50 of 0.9093 mg / ml and 1.2145 mg / ml, respectively. Nanoparticles based on aqueous leaf extract were the least active with IC50 of 1.988 mg / ml. The antibacterial effect of the extracts and nanoparticles was evaluated by the agar medium diffusion method (Muelleur-Hinton). The results indicate that this species also exhibits high antibacterial activity against the four strains tested (P.aeruginosa ATCC 27853, E.coli ATCC 25922, S.aureus ATCC 25923,, S.aureus ATCC 43300), with zones of inhibition of variable diameters, we found that the antibacterial effect of the nanoparticles was the best compared to the aqueous extract and compared to the silver nitrate whatever the bacterial strain.
