Abstract: Tuberculosis is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in the world. Despite the efforts made in terms of health policy in Algeria, it remains a widespread disease. This workaims to identify trends in the incidence of tuberculosis and to describe theepidemiological profile in the region of Ain Témouchent from 2013 to 2020. It was an exhaustive study on tuberculosis patients reported in 2356 to office of regional health care base in Ain Témouchent for eight years. Information iscollected from the regional register of notification of notifiable diseases. The incidence of tuberculosis is estimated in the Ain Témouchent region at 67.17 / 100,000 population with a stable number of declared cases of human tuberculosis during the period between 2013 and 2017. A clear predominance of male cases is observed throughout the study period (1268 cases (53.82%) against 1088 cases in women (46.17%), sex ratio M / F = 1.16). All age groups are affected, with a predominance of adults rather than young people. The majority of patients (69.48%) belong to the age group between 15 and 44 years. These results show that tuberculosis remains a major public health problem in the wilaya of Ain Témouchent and tuberculosis control efforts must be intensified in order to control the spread of the disease in groups at risk and reduce the incidence. of this disease.
