This study aims to explore the antibacterial activities of the Ain Temouchent region's L.nobilis' leaves' essensial oil. The EO was screened for its possible antibacterial activities in vitro against four pathogenic bacterial strains ( Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Esherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25922, Staphylococcus aureus ACC 43300 ) we have extracted the EO using the hydrodstillation method whose yield is 0.3125%. the EO had a positive reaction to these strains tested by the aromatogram method with zones of inhibition for diameters between 12 and 20 mm. the synergistic interaction between the EO and some antibiotics was evaluated. Also, the MIC and MBC were determined by the microdilution method in liquid medium using 96-well that allowed obaining the same value 12.5 mg/ml of MIC for all the bacterias and 50mg/ml of MBC. According to the ratio MBC/MIC, we concluded that the EO of L.Nobilis has bactericidal activity against all bacterial strains.en_US
