Abstract: The objective of this manuscript is to design an array patch antenna for C-band satellite applications between [3.6; 4.2] GHZ for the downlink and between [5.8; 6.4] GHZ for the uplink. We have used an FR4 substrate of 1.5mm thick and 4.3permittivity. The simulation results are very satisfactory in terms of S11 reflection parameter, VSWR, bandwidth, gain and radiation pattern. The proposed patch antenna network is easy to design and integrate into satellites for C-band applications.
