dc.description.abstract"Ethnobotanical study of medicinal plants in the wilaya of Ain Temouchent" In oder to know the medidical olants traditionally used by the population of Ain Temouchent state, a series of ethnobotanical studies were collected using a questionnaire a certain amount of information about the use of plants by the local population. This study showed that women use plants more than men (63, 33). The study of medicinal plants made it possible to enumerate 21 families (Lamyaceae and Apiaceae are the most common) and 39 species (thyme and nokha). Leaves of plants are the most used part (20%).most of the treatments are prepared by boiling and soaking in hot water(47% and 33%) with the preference for internal use (66%). The highest percentage of plants used is against influenza, fever and diabetes. As we mentioned, some plants are believed by some to protect against the Corona virus, such as thyme, cloves and lemon.en_US
