Abstract: | This clinical study aimed to reveal the role of compassion-focused therapy in improving the psychological well-being of married women using two cases (49 years old, 31years old). They were selected from a survey sample of 30 married women in Wilaya of AinTemouchent based on the lowest level of psychological well-being. In the light of the mediating variables: the average educational level, unemployment, not having children and working outside the home during the time period from 20 Dec 2022 to 10 May 2023 and using Ryff's Psychological well-being scale (Ryff, 1995) and compassion-focused therapy (Gilbert, 2014). The descriptive approach was used as a first step to localize the measure of psychological well-being and calculate its psychometric characteristics, and then apply the semi-experimental approach represented by a case study in order to prove or deny the hypotheses of the study. The study outputs the following results: Compassion-focused therapy plays a role in improving the psychological well-being of a housewife. Compassion-focused therapy plays a role in improving the psychological well-being of married women with an average educational level Compassion-focused therapy plays a role in improving the psychological well-being of married women working outside the home.. Compassion-focused therapy plays a role in improving the psychological well-being of married women having no kids. |
