dc.description.abstract | In this work, we are interested in the study of hydrodynamic journal bearings, which have the main objective of supporting a rotating shaft. They consist of three parts: the shaft, the bearing (fixed geometry), and the lubricating film which separates them and which makes it possible to obtain a certain lift from the shaft. Fluent is used is used for the simulation of the lubricating fluid in a plain bearing with regular geometry in order to study the distribution of the pressure fields and temperature fields in the lubricating fluid and its dependence on certain parameters (the eccentricity of the shaft, the angle of stall, rotational speed). The results obtained made it possible to conclude on the effect of these parameters within the fluid. | en_US |
