dc.description.abstractThis project involves static and dynamic study of a gym in steel structure. Static study comprises lowering loads, and dimensioning different framing members. Initially this part was done manually; then aided by SAP2000 v14 software. Modeling and calculation software SAP2000 is an important part of the study to better reflect the behavior of the modeled structure and determine the different parameters (displacement, bending moment, etc.) necessary for the design of structural elements (columns, ties and bracing) that are resistant to various stresses. The dynamic study is to determine the seismic load using one of the methods indicated in the Algerian seismic regulations RPA99 2003 version. This project aims to: - Express the functions of the elements in metal construction. - Leveraging knowledge gained. - Take notice of another construction system. - Sizing and study the different elements of the structureen_US
