dc.description.abstractmage filtering and enhancement is an important field that is used infinitely in image processing, where images are corrupted by many kinds of noises. Different methods and techniques should be used to remove these noises. In our study five methods are used such as: Median, Nagao, EFPGE, MAUTMPF and proposed technique on different kinds of images, affected by different noises in order to study their performance. The results obtained are presented and discussed in terms of the visual quality. And implement these algorithms on a TMS320C6713 DSK board based on DSP.en_US
