dc.description.abstract | Education is a necessity for every person and society in order to develop and succeed. With the development of technology over the past decades a large portion of students started to neglect the traditional learning methods and shifted their attention towards using electronic devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets. This radical transition made a huge impact on the educational system and it was the reason for a new wave of education better known as e-Learning. E-Learning is a learning system that relay on the use of technology to connect students and teachers virtually and works on enhancing students’ language abilities especially their speaking ability since it considers the hardest task for a foreign language learner. The present study attempts to find out the role of implementing e-Learning methods to improve the learners speaking skills. This study aims to describe two variables; e-Learning as a valid method of education and the impact of eLearning on developing speaking skills. The sample of this study is first and second-year students at BELHADJ BOUCHAIB University, Ain-Temouchent. In this work, 2 instruments have been used to collect data; a questionnaire and an interview. The questionnaire has been devoted to both first and second-year students of BELHADJ BOUCHAIB University, and the interview has been addressed to 4 teachers from the department of English, in order to investigate their thoughts and point of view towards the influence of ELearning on developing students’ communication capacities. The results show that both teachers and learners are interested in the Role ELearning in enhancing learners’ oral skills and boosting motivation and participation. | en_US |
