Abstract: Incorporating culture in teaching and learning English as a foreign language has always been a subject of major interest among researchers, teachers and also EFL learners. The views that correspond to this subject are various and totally opposing. One is that language can be taught without culture, and the other, language and culture are interrelated and one cannot be taught without the other. These views and others will be tackled through this research paper that aims to investigate whether culture is included in the teaching learning process. The systematic study to undertake this research is made up of documentary analysis, classroom observations and questionnaires given to both teachers and 2nd year students from the department of English of Belhadj Bouchaib University Center of Ain Temouchent in Algeria.
