Abstract: The interest of this research is the recovery of lemon dregs to extract essential oil to address the oxidation of waste water which poses an environmental problem. The research work was carried out in laboratory N ° 5 in the department of S.M university ain tmouchent on the theme "Extraction of essential oils by different methods" This theme to start several accepts: • Extraction of essential oils by different methods. • Develop a new microwave method. • Valorization of lemon dregs (peel and grain). We studied several factors Yield, Density, CCM, pH on different compounds of following essential oils: Garlic, Lemon peel, Lemon seed, Rosemary, Mint, Rose, Almond. The various analyzes carried out on the extracts, starting with the analysis by thin layer chromatography (TLC) of the essential oils, show that identified compounds are present among these reference compounds as it is the main molecule of these oils. essential. The acid potential values of the oil extracts are acid in the pH range 4-6 as well as the relative densities between 0.009 and 0.016. These values meet the criteria of good quality essential oils according to AFNOR standards.
