Abstract: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common gastrointestinal disorder, considered a benign condition, which requires a comprehensive management approach including medical, phytotherapeutic, and nutritional treatments aimed at relieving symptoms and improving patients' quality of life. The objective of our study is to evaluate the nutritional and phytotherapeutic management of patients with IBS. For this purpose, we developed a questionnaire to determine the parameters associated with IBS. Our results indicate that the majority of participants in the study were aged between 25 and 35, predominantly women. The most frequent symptoms were abdominal pain, bloating, and constipation. Furthermore, our results show that almost all participants do not follow any specific dietary regimen and primarily rely on phytotherapy, particularly using fennel seeds, mint, and pomegranate peel. In conclusion, IBS is a common yet benign disorder that significantly impacts daily life and can be managed through nutritional and phytotherapeutic approaches
