Nosocomial infections are a public health scourge, considered one of the most common infections contracted by patients in health facilities. The aim of our study is the isolation and identification of bacteria responsible for bacteriological contamination of medical devices taken at the hospital Dr.Benzerdjeb Ain Temouchent. 44 samples were collected including 39 catheters and 5 urinary catheters, staphylococci and enterobacteria including Escherichia. Coli ,Klebsiella , Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Acinetobacter , appeared with frequency differentiation in these devices. This indicates the impact of the duration of implantation on the formation of biofilm and the occurrence of infections. Finally, in order to prevent these infections linked to care, rigorous hygiene rules must absolutely be put in place in order to limit the colonization of medical devices and therefore limit the infections linked to these devices.en_US
