Water pollution by heavy metals one of the major problems to be solved in the countries industrialized. Various conventional methods are used to remove heavy metals from existing water. As part of this thesis, we are interested in the heavy metal adsorption process, which consists of treating with mesoporous materials. We are studying the evaluation of the effect of certain operating parameters on the amount of adsorption (Effect of material, support and initial metal concentration). a high affinity of the mesoporous materials with respect to Pb (II) is recorded. It should be noted that the adsorbed quantities are markedly higher on SBA-15-F and Co3O4 compared to the mesoporous kit. The amount of adsorption of Pb (II) decreases considerably depending on the mass of the adsorbent. On the contrary, the adsorption percentage increased slightly from 97% to 99% for SBA-15-F and from 95% to 98% for mesoporous Co3O4.en_US
