Nanotechnology is exploring a variety of promising approaches in the field of materials science at the molecular level, and silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are of major interest at this time. To develop a simple and fast procedure for the biological synthesis of these nanoparticles we use Mentha Aquatiqua leaf extract (domrane) and by an inexpensive and environmentally friendly protocol. The characterization of the obtained nanoparticles is done by UV-Visible spectroscopy, the position of the plasmon band is between 433 and 445 nm. Different parameters such as various concentration of AgNO3 and different pH were performed on the formation of AgNPs which show that the basic medium indicating an improvement of the formation of AgNPs. The synthesized AgNPs show the ability to detect hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the environment. Finally, the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles is done under controlled conditions can be adopted in various industrial and research applications.en_US
