dc.description.abstractSeveral studies have been carried out on medicinal plants with the aim of discovering new drugs of natural origin. The present investigation is devoted to the valorization of a medicinal plant Anabasis articulata. This plant has proven its effectiveness and confirmed by several scientific works worldwide by different researchers, who discovered that this species contains bioactive molecules responsible for different biological activities such as: Antioxidant activity, antidiabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic and antimicrobial. This plant must be more important as a food supplement, but also it can replace synthetic medicines and it must be authorized internationally.en_US
