dc.description.abstractThe precept of complementarity is a basic principle in the intersational criminal justice system that aims to achieve justice and fight extremely serious enmes effectively.This precept is based on enhancing cooperation and coordination between countries and international organizations in order to punish criminals who have committed cross-border crimes. It is also considered the effective exchange of information and evidence and International judicial cooperation to blame those accused of criminal crimes related to genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and other extremely serious criminal crimes. Using this precept, private international courts were established, such as the International Criminal Court, to try criminals and achieve justice for victims. Commitment to international agreements is considered by the Rome Convention to establish The International Criminal Court is an important step to strengthen the precept of complementarity and achieve international justice. In general, the precept of complementarity remains one of the precept available under the statute of the International Criminal Court, in ensuring justice, achieving international peace and security, preserving human rights and confronting serious criminal crimes at the international level.en_US
