Breast cancer detection using microwaves is a promising method that can complement traditional screening techniques. By offering a non-invasive, potentially more comfortable, and less expensive approach, it has the potential to improve early detection rates and increase the chances of successful treatment. However, further research and development are needed to overcome technical challenges and validate the clinical effectiveness of this technology. The aim of our thesis is to design a patch antenna optimized to operate at 2.45 GHz for the detection of breast tumors using electromagnetic waves. This technique allows for early tumor detection through microwave imaging or reflected signal analysis. The results obtained, particularly in terms of reflection coefficient, electric and magnetic fields (E-field, H-field), and surface current, show that this antenna is suitable for this type of application.en_US
