This work focuses on valorizing poultry feathers by extracting keratin through different methods : chemical and ultrasound, utilized as a biopolymer precursor to produce new biomaterials enhancing their structures through organic synthesis and subsequent antioxidant application. These keratin-based biomaterials also hold industrial significance in animal feed, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. The structures of the biomaterials are identified through biochemical tests and characterized by UV-visible and IR spectral data.en_US
