This work, with its subject that combines linguistic theory and literary application, is a study of the critical element, i.e. the title, from a linguistic perspective, within the parallel lesson framework established by the French theorist Gérard Genette.By delving into this framework, the aim is to explore the function of this textual parallel and its role in semantically interrogating the creative discourse, using a linguistic approach that taps into the levels of language. This is done through the analysis of the novel "Trilogy of Granada" by the Egyptian writer Radwa Ashour. The research is thus built on an important question that seeks to connect the novelistic elements with the conceptual framework of the author, and the suggestive connotations conveyed by the title. So, how does the title contribute to the interpretation of the novelistic text of this writer?en_US
